When we find them, they may feel that it was worth it.
[ At least that's how she would feel if it were her. ]
North of the Free Cities... that's interesting. With everything coming up about Josselyn I would think that they would be closer to Solvunn.
[ But that's in the opposite direction entirely. It doesn't mean that something hasn't originated in the Commune, of course. But, hmm... ]
That would make some sense since Summoned disappeared from every place possible. But that's also the worst case scenario, right? That there have been people waiting in every nation to strike.
If the gods are anything like Primals or the other gods I've met, they don't do things on their own. They act upon the wishes and desires of their believers. So maybe this is something that they can't do without us.
So she has strong ties all across the world. That doesn't bode well for us but it definitely makes it all start falling together.
Actually, it would make more sense then that she would keep it as far away from Solvunn as possible, right? To avoid suspicion. I have no doubt the Council would want to be privy to every one of her movements if they could be!
All that really matters here is that they're very real. I want to believe that could be for our benefit, though. If we play our cards right, maybe we can make them work for us even if they didn't before.
No, not that surprising. All these faction wanted the Summoned for their own reasons. Why wouldn't an independent source try to take advantage too? Our connection to the Singularity will always make us targets.
I think once we can prove where they are, or the vicinity they're in, they'll let off our leashes to get them back, yes.

I know nothing about gods, Himeka, but I trust you.

I'm pretty sure with people that powerful, it's better to see if you can work with them. A partnership.

Yes, exactly. So long as you don't end up enthralled or they're sensible to begin with, you can make it work. Probably!
