Viktor doesn't answer, seemingly a little embarrassed by being found out, groaning and burying his face in Jayce's chest. He does not, however, manage to escape the next kiss, and scrunches up his face against it, pretending to be disgruntled. By now, he knows that Jayce sees right through how performative he can be, but part of him still has not chosen to accept it.
"I mean that I want you to be in charge, sometime." Sure, Jayce begs and asks for things but he defers to Viktor for most if not all of it. Viktor knows that's a function of his people-pleasing personality, but he's very curious to see what Jayce might do, if given complete control. "Do you think you'd like that?"
Jayce just laughs quietly since he did catch Viktor out, and he's being adorable and grumpy about it. He's not sure he gets why Viktor likes to act unaffected by it, probably because he's prideful, but he can't deny he finds it pretty charming when he flusters. And Jayce likes seducing him when he's being performative so he has to give in. It ends up in the same place no matter what, the two of them kissing and in the glowing aftermath of sex.
"I have no doubt that I would," Jayce grins, running his hand along Viktor's back. "I think you deserve to be bossed around." He lightly slaps Viktor's ass with that, being playful. It's difficult not to be bright and full of endorphins at the moment. He squeezes it after that. "It might be a learning curve, but I think I can manage." His instinct will still be to defer to Viktor, so he'll just have to keep countering that as they go, but he's confident in them both. And in the fact they burn up the sheets every time they're together.
"I've never wanted anyone like this. It's probably for the best. It would've been distracting for our work." Meaning if he ever did want someone this much that wasn't Viktor, it would've gotten in the way. The two of them have managed to find that sweet spot between making sure their work is being done and having private moments together. But that would've been harder to figure out in the past.
As much as it pained them both, a relationship while they were working on Hextech wouldn't have been a possibility. There was simply too much at risk. All the more reason why they need to cherish it now. Viktor smirks a little at the assertion that Jayce will be able to do as he requests--eventually. Not now, of course. Though being in bed together is nice, there's still a great deal to do and explore, while they have the opportunity.
"But as nice as this is, Jayce, I don't think we should spend all of our time here in bed."
He'll try and take the edge off that request by craning upward for another kiss--one last one before he sits up and slides off the mattress.
Jayce returns the kiss with a pout but he does agree, sitting up. Although it's very obvious to him once he does that he's got dried come all over him and he does have to worry about his hair, less of a joke now that he has to go anywhere. He flirtatiously snags Viktor around the waist and pulls him back against his chest, kissing his neck.
"You've completely dirtied me up, the least you can do is help clean me."
He bites his neck playfully but then releases him, sliding past Viktor to get up himself. He really is an absolute mess at the moment, naked and marked, but Jayce loves that. He feels fantastic. All he wants to do is kiss Viktor, so that means of course that he has to get his shit together.
"Okay, no, if you go with me, I'm going to distract us again." He kisses the top of Viktor's hair instead, cupping his cheek. "Tell me you love me." Jayce rarely asks for that, but he is feeling loose and good.
Viktor needs to clean up, too, and despite Jayce's insistence that if they do it together, they'll get distracted, but he thinks he can keep them on task. For now, he sits on the edge of the bed, allowing Jayce use of the bathroom first, though of course they're further delayed by one last kiss. Then another. Jayce almost gets him with that hand around his waist, but he pushes a hand against his chest to remind him that they have places to be.
Still, they can't seem to break contact. Viktor yelps at the unexpected bite but then leans into the hand against his face in spite of himself. Ordinarily, he might reject such a request outright--Viktor is extremely purposeful with those words, but Jayce is so earnest and looks so soft that he can't resist, this time.
"I love you." Viktor does his best to sound sincere as possible, leaning in to kiss Jayce again. "Try to remember, this time."
Aka it's in his hair and he needs to wash it or he'll obsess over it. The one thing Jayce will always allow himself some vanity about is his hair. He is definitely going to walk out of this inn room glowing from being stuffed full of love and compliments. It'll wear off in a few hours but for now he is just so happy.
Jayce always feels a surge of joy when he hears those words, even if he asked for them, and he returns the kiss sweet and lingering. "Thank you." He kisses Viktor's nose. "I will remember." It's not that he forgets, exactly, but it's complicated.
"You washcloth, me shower." That's what he means by them not doing it together, it will only go poorly and they have things to explore! "I'll be quick." He will be too, he just needs to wash his stupid hair.
Viktor isn't going to stop him, even if the prospect of joining him is very tempting. He'll resist, for now, if only because he really does want to get back out to the marketplace. Since it's been decided that Jayce actually needs a shower, Viktor gives him a little shove towards the bathroom. Be quick about it, indeed.
"You do realize, however, that I'll need to come with you regardless."
That's where the water and towels are! He will, however, promise not to follow Jayce into the shower.
"I do, just be on your best behavior." Jayce says this very seriously but his eyes are amused because they are both aware that he is almost always the problem there. He gets frisky. He laughs at the shove and resists the urge to kiss Viktor again since there's always the risk he'll keep going.
They do need to actually do other things. And there's always tonight.
