Jayce is happy to be there huddled under an awning, especially if it led to their first kiss. He is having the same concerns about Viktor though, if it continues even his heat won't be enough. The only surefire way of keeping them both healthy is to get out of the rain and dry. Even if it is a scramble to get there. He is a little more focused on this moment first though, for the obvious reasons. The rain is still coming down, loudly, but nothing is louder than the sound of his own heart beating quickly, from his perspective. And all he feels right then is the press of Viktor's lips against his, the smell of him mixed with that of the rain, and the streets.
He never did this before because it never seemed like the right moment and they were focused on work when they were together, so if nothing else, he is thankful for the storm to slow them down long enough to be caught in a compromising position long enough to walk over the edge. "God I love your accent," Jayce murmurs back, it sounds very thick like this and a rare low rumble. It's the truth. Viktor has such a precise and unique way of speaking, some of it to do with his accent, some of it just being the way he chooses words and communicates.
He wonders how beautiful other things might sound in that accent. Jayce leans into the second kiss, fully intending on ignoring the weather entirely to continue it, but Viktor is wiser than he is. He sighs because of course he's right, although he's far less likely to catch a cold than Viktor is. "Okay but two things first." Jayce slicks Viktor's hair back out of his face. "One, how slippery will it be with your cane? Will you lean on me?" He knows Viktor can be proud sometimes but they can't exactly get to safety if he'll slip and fall.
And as a follow up. "Two, you're not going to change your mind once we get inside, are you? Because I might take my chances with the weather." That is definitely a joke. Mostly.
