Viktor gives a soft, amused snort, a shake of the head. "Given your rising star they will likely be distracted by your signature. What is that term you said they started to use?" he asks, drawing out a hum as if he does not know before snapping. "Ah yes, golden boy." A new thing to tease Jayce over as it turns out.
Of course Jayce is so sincere again and Viktor clears his throat, no longer surprised by these moments but still damnably effected. 'You fill in my blanks,' he should be teasing him for that but it's true. "It is good of you to handle the investors, in truth. Selling the science is not my strong suit." To put it lightly.
Needless to say Viktor isn't great at flirting himself, though mostly because he is too blunt on a good day and rarely has any interest in romantic entanglement. People play flirt with friends, don't they? He doesn't have much of a frame of reference there. The fact he is thinking of Jayce and flirting is already a line he knows he shouldn't cross.
Then again that line is probably distant compared to being pressed close to him as the rain howls, exchanging soft jokes. "It would make getting any work done difficult," he murmurs. "... but occasionally would be acceptable."
