"Alright, everything." He would put initials only but he doesn't know if Viktor has a last name or what it is. Jayce may be self-absorbed at times but he believes strongly in giving credit where it's due, just like he refuses to give credit where it isn't due. "Don't worry, it's my handwriting, no one will think you egotistical." He's teasing since that is what Viktor accused him of that first night, and it's a fond memory now, what could have been the last night of his life being something amazing instead.

Jayce gets along okay with other people at the academy, but he did have a streak of independence that set him apart, and he was working on things he couldn't share. No one thought the way he did, no one had that open-mindedness required to dream bigger than any of them knew. Except Viktor. "You fill in all my blanks, partner. It's good of you too." The equations he couldn't figure out, the type of thinking that his mind couldn't wrap around, but that is where Viktor excels. They perfectly mirror each other somehow.
Jayce will keep being genuine until Viktor gets used to it and worries less about being awkward. Their dream is going to change their entire world. He wants to make sure Viktor gets credit, even as he's certain people will try to look past him.
He laughs and looks down at him, not entirely unaware of how close they are to each other, especially when he's flirting. Jayce actually rarely flirts, it's not something he is naturally good at. It might seem like he is good with people, but it is mostly pretend. Actual connection is rare for him. "Touchy-feely, yeah. But you're not going to let me do this all the time, are you?"
