"Mm, I find that acceptable," Viktor replies dryly- as though he ever thought he'd convince Jayce not to offer the odd kiss in the lab. The man was so physically affectionate it seemed impossible, and frankly he isn't complaining. If they do get that assistant they've been discussing they'll need to be more careful, but until then Viktor sees no way a little affection in the lab will be anything but an occasional, welcome distraction.
He expects Jayce to react strongly to his warning about public opinion, following the tilt of Jayce's fingers to regard him as requested, lips quirking fondly at his intense response. "I knew it wouldn't scare you away, but... you do need to be prepared to bite your tongue more than you'll no doubt like." He tilts his head as if realizing something, a curious hum as he says, "I suppose I will need to relearn as well. It is easy to brush off things said about me, should I hear anything about you it might be more difficult."
That aside Jayce brings up a decent point, gets a nod from Viktor. He considers for a brief moment before shifting carefully to his feet, getting up so he can sit on Jayce's lap and look down at him again, a faint smile on his face not unlike a pleased cat. "Neither do I, so we are in agreement. For that matter, while I have no interest in being particularly public about our business I do not wish to be a secret. I am... serious about this, Jayce, as I have said before. I want to tell people if asked or if I believe they should know."
Which is practically no one for him, really. His social circle is Jayce and Heimendinger for the most part, but it still matters to him that Jayce is not something to hide.
