It can wait, maybe, though it does occur to him that Lee must be wondering where her employee is. Most of those thoughts leave his head, however, when Jayce starts trying to tame his hair. He closes his eyes and leans into it almost involuntarily, enjoying the feeling of being so casually touched.
When Jayce keeps talking, however, he blinks his eyes open again, looking a little confused, like he's not sure how he's supposed to respond to someone doing something like this for him.]

[Or you bought breakfast, is the unspoken additional question. He's not going to say no, but it doesn't sit right with him that he gets to stay in bed while Jayce does all the work. He shifts on the mattress, clearly moving to get up.]
