[Viktor doesn't know when, exactly, he falls asleep. What he does register is sinking into Jayce's arms and the pillows and the mattress, simply letting himself be held until he slips off into unconsciousness. There's a reason he doesn't really let himself get as much rest as he needs--when he's out, he's really out, and the combination of the harrowing excursion, a week in a wagon, and their own bedroom activities means that sleep finds Viktor quickly and completely. At some point, he becomes aware that Jayce leaves the bed, probably to take care of a few things, but he's so throughly exhausted that he's never fully roused by any of it.
He sleeps into the evening and through the night. When he finally does awaken, it's long past dawn (when he, too, prefers to get up), sun streaming in through the room's little window. It takes him a moment to remember the events of the previous day, though the presence of the large body currently enveloping him is a good reminder. The contented noise that escapes him when he realizes where he is and how he came to be here more-or-less says it all.
Viktor shifts in Jayce's arms, twisting a little to look at him and see if he's awake. It's nice--just to watch, and linger in the moment, but eventually he speaks up.]
Hi.
[He's well-rested, for once. Fully mellowed out, expression soft, apparently pleased by this turn of events. A rare look, for him.]
