And, perhaps, Viktor has come to relish it. Something special that they only share with each other--a side of him that only one person in the world gets to see. He's had anniversaries to chart before. His own birthday. Years spent in Piltover. Counting down the time he believed he had left. The most important ones, however, have all revolved around Jayce. Their time spent as partners. Their time spent as romantic partners. And now, the anniversary of their finding each other again, across vast universes.
Maybe he is sentimental, though. Deep down.
Viktor doesn't resist as Jayce rolls on top of him, arms sliding up around his shoulders automatically. Now that things are settling, finally, they've been dancing around this for a bit, and he should have things to go down this road when he kissed Jayce awake. He' s not opposed, and in fact he's been anticipating it, now that they finally have a moment to breathe. Even better, Viktor isn't in pain due to his illness--his congenital ailments aren't going anywhere, but now that he's fully recovered, he's looking forward to being with Jayce like he's always wanted. As he should be, no longer diminished by illness.
"I do," he replies, nodding, voice hushed. Viktor is in one of Jayce's oversized shirts, washed soft, and underneath the covers everything feels warm and pleasant. "But I want to have breakfast with you first."
