Jayce thinks the same thing. There were too many complications back home and he had a lot of stuff to answer for. Viktor was dying with no hope as far as he knows, if he destroyed the Hexcore, so there's only tragedy in his mind coming. They ran out of time to be together. They were given that time back here and if their plans work out, they'll be given time they couldn't have otherwise. He is truly grateful and despite occasional sadness they missed out on years together, he is thankful they're together now.
"You make me so happy, V." It's not a surprise, Jayce glows with his happiness in this relationship, but he still likes to communicate it. The only thing that could compare with being with him was them discovering Hextech or the Hexgates opening, and so much of that joy is already connected with Viktor. Any time he has ever felt this good, it was with Viktor. He is the source of the best moments of his life.
Jayce lifts his hips into Viktor's grip and groans, overheated immediately. He assumes Viktor wants him partly dressed on purpose and he is letting him run this so he doesn't try to take his pants fully off. He is always so responsive, tilting his head so Viktor can enjoy all of his neck. "Did you think about it back then? Were you ever jealous?" It's hard to ask because he suspects probably not, but jealousy isn't always about sex. Jealousy can be about wanting Jayce's full attention too.
He glances to the side and puts out a long arm to try and reach the bedside table, he manages to open it although pauses for a moment when a very good stroke gets him breathless. Jayce told Viktor that first day he would always have something with them and he proved that. He pulls a bottle out and shakily drops it by his hip. "Please." While Jayce is very into this, it's dry and there's no reason to be when he's prepared.
