[Viktor already knows there will be some boundary negotiation--and likely some exasperation, when it comes to reining Jayce in, but he'd known this from the start. He's not out to change Jayce, because his eagerness and sincerity and the fact that he wears his heart on his sleeve is part of who he is. It's part of what Viktor loves about him, even if he's not very good at saying that in as many words. If this means he'll have to be slightly distracted from work every so often, well. He thinks he might like that.

[Moving, at this point, seems almost impossible, so he takes in the moment instead. He and Jayce are practically nose to nose, and there's a warm hand brushing against his cheek. He smiles, genuinely, enjoying their closeness--even the prickle of sweat drying on his skin and messy sheets doesn't bother him, at least not for now. He simply looks, instead, taking in the perfect planes and angles of Jayce's face, the gold-ringed hazel of his eyes, and his chest suddenly aches with the thought that all of this is his. Despite everything, despite all of the outside forces trying to pull them apart and turn them against each other, they've come back to this anyway. It seems almost ridiculous, now, that he denied himself the man in front of him for so long.
Jayce wants to make him happy. Viktor isn't so optimistic that he envisions much of a future outside of this moment, but for now it will be enough. If he gets to spend the time he has left just like this, it will be enough.]
